LEEDS STILL KEEN ON BRIDCUTT

Leeds United are reported to be still interested in landing Scotland international Liam Bridcutt over the summer to join their squad. Bridcutt is with English Premier League club Sunderland currently and still has a year on his deal at the Stadium of Light, but United still want the player to appear in their colours next season.

They were hoping to negotiate a free transfer for the midfielder, but Yorkshire Evening Post reports claims the club wants to collect a transfer fee.

Sunderland bought the play maker for just £2.5m two years ago and wouldn’t want him to go for free. There were initially reports that could make the deal fail to fall through but Yorkshire Evening Post says Leeds United are still interested. Our expert betting advice is to back him to be playing for Leeds next season.

On the other hand, Celtic are also keen on landing Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair, according to reports from Scottish Sun. Former Reds tactician who is now with Celtic, Brendan Rodgers, is reported to really want the player since they have an history together.  Sinclair worked with Rodgers before at Swansea and now he wants a reunion at Celtic. The move is reported to be fine with Aston Villa as they would be able to offload his Premier League wages.

Also, Championship newcomers Newcastle United are considering a move for Arsenal’s Isaac Hayden, according to latest reports. There were reports that Benitez made having a new striker and centre back priority, but according to reports from Shields Gazette, he has now made having Hayden a priority. Arsenal might not release the player on a permanent move due to his potential but The Magpies are keen on it. Arsenal themselves are still on the lookout for defenders.
