Leeds United manager Simon Grayson mentioned that his top priority currently is making sure that the deal with Robbie is finalized at the earliest so as to reduce any further complication in the matter.

The only focus right now is making sure that the work permit business is completed successfully so that Robbie can become a permanent player associated with Leeds United. O’BRIEN REFUSES TO PLAY

Leeds United manager Simon Grayson has said that the club’s defender Andy O’Brien will not play for the club ever again. Defender Andy O’Brien refused to play for the club in the match against Burnley, which has provoked a furious response in the same manner as it did for the situation with Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

Leeds United staged a dramatic comeback in the match against Burnley, but the refusal to play on the part of Andy O’Brien has infuriated the manager Simon Grayson. Speaking to the media after the match, Grayson revealed that Andy O’Brien has played his last match for the club.

Andy O’Brien has played for the likes of Newcastle and Bolton in the past, but Simon Grayson has revealed that the 32-year-old’s career at Elland Road has come to an end. After the 2-1 win over Burnley, Simon Grayson said “Andy O’Brien came to me on Friday afternoon and simply told me that he didn’t want to play any more for this football club. It was a shock on Friday but he won’t play for this football club as long as I am here. It’s disgraceful.  It has come as a shock, especially given I have backed him both publicly and privately over the last few weeks.”

Robert Snodgrass was the main architect of Leeds United’s comeback, as he scored twice in the final few minutes to help Leeds United keep up their promotion challenge. Earlier, Jay Rodriguez had given the lead to Burnley in the 10th minute. It looked like Jay Rodriguez’s was going to be enough for Burnley to win the match and get all three points, but Robert Snodgrass had other ideas as he scored twice in the last 10 min to give Leeds an unlikely victory. Burnley boss Eddie Howe said that Leeds were lucky to win the match.
