Leeds United make their short trip up the A64 this afternoon for the annual pre-season opener against York City (1pm). Manager Simon Grayson has confirmed he will field at least 22 players during the game, one of whom is likely to be 21-year-old French defender Mathieu Baudry, currently on trial from Troyes.
'We're looking at playing two teams, 45 minutes each,' confirmed the boss. 'They have done some football work in pre-season, and they've been working hard, so you expect there will be some tired legs. (New signings) Shane Higgs and Jason Crowe will get 45 minutes, along with all of the fit players.'
On Monday the squad head-off to the pre-season training camp in Ireland during which they will face Shelbourne and Glentoran as the countdown to the new season begins.
