The Leeds United squad are primed and ready for the huge challenge of securing a place in the Championship against Doncaster Rovers at Wembley tomorrow. After all the hype the waiting is nearly over as thousands of Leeds folk prepare to descend on old London town in a bid to roar the team to victory.
Manager Gary McAllister has drawn on the experience he gained under Gerard Houllier at Liverpool in ensuring that the preparation has been thorough, with not even the slightest detail being overlooked.
'The players have worked extremely hard and this is their day,' said McAllister. 'Doncaster will think the same and the best team on the day will win. We've prepared well and we've prepared professionally. They have worked extremely hard and the last few days have been about making sure everybody is ready to go.'
'There's been no holding back in training because you can't prepare like that. And my confidence in these guys grows and grows. I'll be going relaxed and I feel the players are ready. I have the team in my mind and I know which way we will go.'
